nSenior Applications & Field Service Engineer (Remote – Preferred: Eastern TN, NC, SC or GA)
nVicivision America is seeking a Senior Applications & Field Service Engineer to serve as the technical expert for our advanced metrology solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working directly with leading manufacturers, and helping customers implement world-class inspection technologies.
nThis is a remote position with a preferred home base in Eastern Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. The role requires 50–75% travel primarily within the Eastern United States, with occasional international travel. Team members also travel to our Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters approximately twice per year.
nReports to: General Manager
nWhat You'll Do
nProvide technical expertise and application support for advanced metrology systems.
nInstall, calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot hardware and software at customer facilities.
nEvaluate manufacturing processes and recommend optimized inspection solutions.
nDeliver customer training on equipment, software, and best practices.
nSupport technical sales activities, demonstrations, and trade shows.
nPartner with Engineering to improve products based on customer feedback.
nBuild trusted relationships with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
nWhat We're Looking For
nU.S. Citizen and current U.S. resident with a current U.S. passport.
nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
n7+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, metrology, or applications engineering.
nStrong knowledge of:
nGD&T (ASME Y14.5)
nPrecision metrology and inspection systems
nManufacturing processes and quality systems
nCAD drawings and engineering documentation
nTroubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment and software
nExcellent communication and customer-facing skills.
nAbility to travel 50–75%, primarily throughout the Eastern U.S.
nValid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
nPreferred Experience
nExperience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
nPC-DMIS, Calypso, MODUS, PolyWorks, MetLogix or similar metrology software
nEquipment service in CMMs and CNC machining environments
nOptical metrology, laser scanning, or vision inspection systems
nIndustrial automation, robotics, or PLCs
nSix Sigma or Quality Engineering
nCapital equipment installation and support
nPrevious Applications Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, or Metrology Engineer experience
