Job DetailsEssential duties:Issue triage and troubleshooting of system-level issuesLead issue resolution in coordination with the HW, SW and ME design teamsFeed issue resolution back into engineering best practices and system requirementsSupport system level integration testing plans, requirements verification and compliancePerform/support in-vehicle & breadboard activities when requiredManage resolution of architecture issues. Enforce design commonality across conceptsSupport system DFMEA creation and risk mitigation plansPrepare customer presentations for reviewGenerate engineering design documentation and specificationsPerform physical testing on engineering prototypesAssist with discussing and finalizing the DV/PV test requirements between customer and internal validation teamsAnalyze test data, write detailed reports, and present results and recommendations to engineering managementManage and verify requirements using the appropriate software toolsWork with internal and customer teams to define/improve processesQualifications:Technical degree in electrical/mechanical/systems engineeringExperience with requirement's management tools such as Jama, Polarion, DNG/ DOORsIssue tracking, and work management with JIRAVehicle CAN bus troubleshooting with Canalyzer and CAPL5+ years of engineering experiencePreferred 3+ years of experience with battery pack systemsDemonstrated competence in the development of electrical and /or electromechanical systemsWorking knowledge of automotive specifications for electromechanical systemsAbility to prepare complex written reports and other documentsStrong communication abilities with a preference for working in teams and mentoring engineersA detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skillsDesire to have ownership of work - we have small teams and fast timelinesEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
