Application Developer for a contract to hire opportunity in Dallas, TX! The Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing and developing technology solutions that meet business needs. In this role you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team focused on full lifecycle development, from concept through deployment and ongoing enhancements.
The Sr. Application Developer will:Design and develop complex, enterprise-scale applications, delivering high-quality, maintainable code.Leverage modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to build innovative solutionsApply established development best practices to ensure applications are stable, secure, and highly availableTroubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues with a calm, methodical approachCollaborate closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutionsDesign, implement, configure, maintain, and support application and infrastructure components.Model behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and core values.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of relevant professional experienceDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficientlySolid understanding of software design patterns and unit testing practicesExperience with modern web development technologies, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactBackend development and API experience, preferably with Go and NOSQL databases (Mongo)Proficiency in scripting languages, Python and BashFamiliarity with cloud platforms, with a focus on AWSExperience building or supporting scalable, containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practicesExperience collaborating in team environments using Git or similar version control systems.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teamsNice to Haves:Experience troubleshooting network-related issues in complex environmentsStrong working knowledge of Linux systemsExperience with FreeSWITCH developmentExperience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems designExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Chef, Troposphere, AWS CDK)Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile development methodologiesExperience implementing and maintaining CRM platforms
