Sr. Android Developer

The position is hybrid, with 3 days per week working from the client’s office.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to work on mobile applications used by tens of millions of cardholders worldwide.

We’re seeking someone with strong technical skills and creativity—someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with innovative technologies, sharing ideas, and is passionate about delivering an excellent user experience and writing high-quality code.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, small-team environment while benefiting from the stability of a Fortune 100 company. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and fellow engineers to develop and enhance mobile application features.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with modern Android development methodologies and able to quickly explore, develop, test, and iterate on solutions in an environment where requirements may sometimes be ambiguous.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of experience building Android applications
• Strong coding and debugging skills
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI
• Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) practices and patterns
• Strong troubleshooting and bug-fixing abilities
• Experience with asynchronous programming patterns
• Performance analysis and optimization
• Experience working with and modernizing legacy code
• Unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and practices
• Ability to design solutions for open-ended and complex problems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
