Sr. Analyst, Pricing Analytics

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Position Purpose:The Sr. Analyst, Pricing will support the efforts to provide subject matter expertise, project management, and analytical support to the development and execution of Pricing Strategies. The Sr. Analyst will perform analysis of data, build presentations, and will solve business questions using their insights, analytics, and judgement.

The Sr. Analyst will work with cross functional partners, including marketing, ops, strategy and others to ensure end to end thinking on strategy and execution. The Sr. Analyst will also support merchants directly by helping them understand their business, test pricing strategies, and helping them achieve their objectives.Key Responsibilities:50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin.

Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives20% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs20% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisionsDirect Manager/Direct Reports:This position reports to Manager.This position has 0 direct reports.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
