The Sr. AP Accountant will be responsible for preparation and consolidation of Financial Statements, help implement highly-visible process improvements within the Accounts Payables process, and meticulous AP Vendor Database processing using ERP's like Concur, Oracle and/or Fusion. If you are looking for the next step in your career, apply now!Responsibilities :Prepare and analyze Accounts Payables, journal entries, income statement, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports for the AP team on a regular basisAnalyze statements and review/approve any proposed adjustments, prepare audit schedules and communicate with auditorsAssist with implementing highly-visible process improvements within the Accounts Payables team procedures to increase efficiency.Apply knowledge of laws and regulations and ensure compliance to regulations, policies and proceduresProvide input and support the development of verbal, analytical, and visual presentation materials for Executive ManagementSupport multiple projects, identify opportunities, and carry out ad hoc tasksQualifications/Background Profile :5-7+ years of experience in Accounts Payables within a large organizationStrong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in large ERP/T&E expense reporting and accounts payable software, specifically ConcurOracle Fusion software experience is a plusThis job is Hybrid Remote.We offer several comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.Sparks Group is an equal opportunity employer.
