Sr. Accountant

Senior AccountantOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is highly visible, partnering across departments and supporting leadership with financial insights, month-end close, and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings a strong GL foundation, experience in a multi-entity environment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform multi-entity balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysisDeliver standard and ad hoc financial reportingPartner with operations to provide cost analysis and decision-support insightsAnalyze SG&A activity and respond to leadership inquiriesConduct monthly and ad hoc account analysisAssist with the monthly close process, including coordination of AR/AP sub-ledgersPrepare and post journal entries and ensure timely, accurate reportingSupport special projects and process improvementsOwn key areas of the General Ledger, including payroll and fixed assetsManage intercompany transactions and reconciliationsPrepare payroll-related reconciliations and headcount reportingMaintain accuracy across all GL activityPrepare audit and tax support schedulesAssist in strengthening internal controls, policies, and proceduresSupport external audits and provide guidance to AP/AR teamsAct as a backup to the Accounting Manager on critical functionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master's preferred7+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing or corporate environment preferred)Strong knowledge of GAAP (accrual accounting)Experience with NetSuite (required) and Microsoft Office SuiteKey Skills & ExperienceGeneral ledger ownership and journal entriesBank and account reconciliationsPayroll accounting, including tax and 401(k) entriesFixed asset accounting and reportingIntercompany accountingSG&A analysis and reportingStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insightsWhy Join?High-impact role with visibility to leadershipOpportunity to influence process improvements and controlsCollaborative environment with cross-functional exposure
