Senior AccountantLocation: Smyrna, TNCompensation: $70,000 - $80,000(D.O.E.), eligible for up to 12% bonusResponsibilities:Participates and/or recommends to management major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.Prepares reports, which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.Assists with budget preparation, reviewing budget proposals, and preparing necessary supporting documentation and justificationProvides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.Manages all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, preparation and input of journal entries, bank statement reconciliation, and maintaining accounting estimates.Determines work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow to standardize and improve efficiency.Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training and development, etc.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (Advanced Degree is a Plus)4+ years of related experienceAdvanced Excel SkillsExperience managing processes
