Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60 to $65 per hour.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and accounting software's.
- Experience in the implementation and integration of ERP systems within an organization required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in analyzing sales data and revenue streams for CPG products in retail preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
