The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic, be observant, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The Senior Accountant must also be experienced in an accounting environment, have experience working with ASC 842, and demonstrate the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced office environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing ASC 842 lease accounting for the CompanyPrepare/review reconciliations for right-of-use assets and liabilities (under ASC 842) and other accrual accounts in compliance with GAAP standardsSupport the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processesPost journal entriesWork closely with various expense managers to ensure accurate month-end accruals are submitted timelySupport the preparation of ad hoc reporting requirements and analysisAssist with preparation of audit work paper and schedulesDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
