Senior AccountantWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee advanced accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role is critical to managing month-end closings, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Based in Dallas, Texas, the position also involves contributing to audits, budgeting, and process enhancements.
Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain accuracy and completeness.
The role involves managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in alignment with U.S. accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data to identify trends, address variances, and recommend actionable solutions. Additionally, they will assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning.
The role also includes proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure best practices within the accounting function. The Senior Accountant will maintain and update cash flow forecasts by collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections teams. They will provide backup support for the Accounts Payable Manager as needed and support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
