Sr. AccountantTalentry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing various accounting tasks to ensure the company's financial health and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Maintenance: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and business transactions in accordance with GAAP. Daily Accounting Functions: Execute journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights for strategic planning. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, and assist in the annual audit process. Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency. Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
