Senior Accountant
Our client, a well-established manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to bring order and accuracy to their day-to-day financial operations. This is a chance to be the go-to accounting resource across branches and operations teams, digging into inventory costing issues and helping keep the books rock-solid in a fast-moving environment. Your work will directly support the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for a company that keeps critical industries running.

Compensation

• $80,000 - $90,000 base + Bonus opportunity

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing daily bank reconciliations
• Preparing and posting journal entries with complete supporting documentation
• Leading month-end close activities
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Researching and correcting inventory costing discrepancies, identifying root causes across ERP systems
• Maintaining vendor records and supporting vendor setup
• Serving as an accounting resource to branch and operations teams

What You'll Need to Be Considered

• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
• Experience researching and resolving inventory costing discrepancies
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Self-directed and proactive work style with strong ownership of assigned tasks
