Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $120,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain forecasting models to support financial planning and strategic decision-making
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that highlight key trends and insights
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries in compliance with GAAP
• Optimize financial systems such as Restaurant365 and develop dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI

• Demonstrate strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including budgeting and variance analysis
• Communicate complex financial data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
• Apply advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software to streamline reporting
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through data analysis

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting operations, and financial systems
• Understand GAAP and maintain compliance with financial regulations and audit standards
• Possess experience in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
• Build and manage KPI dashboards and reporting tools to support business performance
