SQL Server DBA / DeveloperNeed local to Long Beach. This role will be ONSITE in Long Beach, CA from Monday to Wednesday each week, and then REMOTE for Thursday and Friday. VIDEO interview will be required.
The SQL Server DBA/Developer role requires a person with a minimum of 5 years work experience as a Microsoft SQL Server 2016 to 2022 Database Administrator and SQL Developer.Key responsibilities include working with Information Management and other staff to develop modifications to existing applications, test, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL-based applications, interfaces, and databases.Tasks, Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, Create, implement and maintain SQL Databases based on end user requirementsEnsure database performance, reliability and stabilityCreate reports using SSRS and other toolsCreate data integration using SSISCreate data presentations using Power BI and SSASCreate simple SharePoint applicationsConduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for SQL Databases and applicationsCreate technical documentationRequired Knowledge and ExperienceProficiency in SQL and T-SQLExperienced with creating and modifying SQL databasesExperienced writing complex queriesExperienced with testing and troubleshooting SQL based applications and integrationsExperienced creating technical documentationExperience in Always On High Availability Groups implementationExperience in Disaster Recovery implementationProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, SSRS, and SSISExperience taking direction from a business analyst or project managerProficiency in Python, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and PowerShellDesired Skills, Education and Certifications:Bachelor's degreeDemonstrated experience working in a team environment5+ years of experience as a SQL Server 2016 to 2022 Database Administrator and SQL Developer, technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Experience working with software vendorsEffective verbal and written communication skills
