SQL Server Database AdministratorThe SQL Server Database Administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and implementing code for the delivery center’s Microsoft SQL Server databases. The DBA will ensure the availability of the assigned databases and provide support for optimizing database performance as well as providing support to streamline database release activities.**Need experience migrating from Oracle to SQL**Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor SQL Server databasesMonitor the health and performance of the databaseMonitor, enhance, and automate routine processesConfigure and maintain SQL Server database processesIdentify and resolve database issuesProvide support to application development teams through application performance reviews and enhancement suggestionsProactively identify enhancements to streamline database processes and procedures supporting the goals of the organizationSupport application development teams through database enhancement and code deploymentsProvide 24x7 support for critical production databasesQualificationsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other computer related role.
