Hybrid Contract General

Salary: $60,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

  • Experience with SQL Server and OLTP systems, including relational design, normalization, indexing, stored procedures, and high-concurrency workloads
  • Knowledge of transactions and performance tuning, including ACID properties, isolation levels, locking, deadlocks, query latency, and contention troubleshooting
  • Experience designing REST API data flows, including reads and writes, request validation, error handling, retries, rate limiting, and idempotency
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Azure API Management, and Azure Blob Storage
  • Experience with SSIS or similar integration tools, ETL for migration or batch synchronization, and concepts such as concurrency, caching, and service scalability
  • Ability to collaborate with backend and application engineers
Responsibilities:
  • Design SQL Server transactional data systems and real-time or near-real-time data pipelines
  • Build API-driven data flows and optimize database schemas and stored procedures
  • Preserve transactional integrity and troubleshoot concurrency issues
  • Support Azure-based data services and occasional integrations
