We are tasked with solving the complex data needs of both US and International reserving actuaries. Our group is responsible for collating data from several disparate systems and platforms and providing analytic solutions for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.
This requirement is for a full-time position in either our Philadelphia, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ office. Hybrid remote work (3 days required in office each week).ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain MS SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, jobs and complex queriesDesign, build, and maintain MS Analysis Services cubes (SSAS)Design, build, and maintain MS Integration Services packages (SSIS)Analyze existing applications to improve efficiency and reliabilityConduct system testing and provide support during user acceptance testingDeliver quality solutions on time following SDLC best practicesDocumentation of current or new processesProvide on-call production support as neededQualifications5+ years experience with SQL Server developing stored procedures, functions, jobs, complex queries, SSIS packages, SSAS cubesExperience with SDLC, DevOps and GITCapability to work on multiple projects at once with constantly changing prioritiesEnthusiastic about work and code qualityExtensive technical analysis and investigative capabilitiesExcellent time management and problem-solving abilitiesLearning mindset and team playerComfortable interfacing with end usersResult/Solution-oriented individual who can work/learn in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and writing skills
