This organization has an audit team that assists the enterprise-wide internal audit team. The goal of the org's audit team is to ensure compliance on the front end to avoid observation from internal and external auditors.
This person will have two functions - responding to audit requests and monitoring SQL DBs. In regards to audit requests, this person will run scripts to find requested info, screenshot and prepare results. Most of the PCI and SOX audit requests come on a quarterly basis with a few reports needed monthly.
As for monitoring, this person will monitor alerts from the monitoring system (Zabbix) as well as their internal performance monitoring tool. Requests may include addressing blocked DBs, new hire permissions, access requests and UAT change tickets. This environment is entirely on-prem and thus patching, back ups, performance analysis as well as troubleshooting capabilities are extremely important.Required Skills: SQL operations DBA PowerShell or T-SQL
