SQA Project Manager(Automation)Overall responsibility for software testing and QA for the assigned project.Implementation of DevOps/TestOps5+ years of automation framework development and enhancement5+ years of Object Oriented/.NET development experienceProven experience with Web, desktop and middle tier applications and architectures.Demonstrated competency of Agile SCRUM.Demonstrated competency with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.In-depth software engineering and development lifecycle knowledge a plusDevelop and maintain project plans and monitor the execution of plans and milestonesContribute to the strategic vision of the QA Management team including quality initiatives.Provide leadership to achieve testing and automation goalsMentor and manage QA team including, career development, performance assessment, one-on-one sessions.Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.Coordinating plans and working with cross functional team members across remote sites.Track project progress against planLead testing estimation reviews with the project stakeholdersIdentify technical and non-technical risks in the project, prepare risk mitigation plan and track risks during the course of the projectSingle point of contact for internal and external project stakeholdersRegular communication to the project stakeholders on the project status, risks, issues and dependenciesEnsure that the project adheres to the organization's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Manage a small – medium size project (5 – 15 team members)Address team issues and conflictsAct as a mentor / coach to the team members to achieve their career objectives / aspirations and achieve the project's objectivesPerformance Management –appraisals of the team members; create and track team members' growth plansManage performance bonus payout for the team members through a metrics driven processSupport the Organization in the recruitment activitiesMaintain quality system and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Desired candidate profile:8 – 12Years of experience with minimum 2 year as Project managerShould have managed Manual and automation testing / UATGood Test Management experience with ability to independently plan, monitor and execute projectsShould be able to formulate test strategies, approaches, testing process and guidelines for the project.Good experience in estimating effortGood client management experienceShould have good understanding of Test automation tools.Good Leadership skillsShould have managed a team of minimum 5-15 membersStrong technical, analytical and problem solving skillsGood communication skills (Written & Oral)Good people management skillsWell versed in SDLC Methodologies – Agile, WaterfallAbility to understand business process and operations and apply technical solutionsLead and facilitate sharing of best practices.Strong and effective oral and written communication skillsExcellent Time Management skillsDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment with a "can-do" attitudeDemonstrated ability to multi-taskEducation:Bachelor's in Engineering/Masters in Engineering/MCACertifications:PMP Certification (desirable)Relevant technical certifications obtained during the individual's career progression (desirable)
