Sprayer TechnicianVan Wall Equipment is looking for an Sprayer Technician to perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned application equipment. Candidates should have the expertise to use the appropriate tools to successfully diagnose and repair most application equipment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDiagnose problems and determine what repairs are neededPerform any inspections as requiredRepair, service, and assemble application machinesCheck and report any shortages or malfunctions to the Service ManagerMaintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipmentComplete disassembly and inspection, as efficiently as possible, so parts may be ordered and machine work can be scheduled promptlyMaintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used in repairing and servicing both customer and dealership equipmentParticipate in-service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMaintain and care for shop tools, equipment, vehicles, and other employee's belongingsHelp the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, etcRepresent the dealership as a professional Service Technician at all timesMust obtain core training through JDU and keep it in good standing by continuing education with a minimum of one Q-Diagnostic class every 5 yearsPosition Qualifications1+ years of experience performing service repairsPrevious knowledge and experience operating and repairing application equipment requiredAbility to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual proceduresAble to operate a service truck and perform infield repairs on a regular basisProficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipmentAbility to operate equipment used for diagnostic purposesProficient oral and written communication skillsAbility to lift at least 75 lbsBasic Service Technician certifications preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree strongly preferredValid driver's license with insurability to drive a company vehicle is required
