Job PostingThe spray technician is a member of the spray crew who reports to and takes direction from the Chem Spray Manager and provides instruction to other members of the spray crew.Duties and responsibilities:Spray application of chemicalsPossess an awareness of and commit to chemical safetyAbility to follow through on assigned tasksFollow instructions accuratelyEducation and experience:Has or can obtain a QALBasic knowledge of plant materialAble to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and writtenPhysical demands/requirements:Work in/or about situations near direct automotive trafficWork near or about natural bodies of waterWork 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees FahrenheitAbility to work in direct sunlight for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry 40 lbs.
