Managing a moderate portfolio of sponsored projects, the full-time Sponsored Programs Finance Analyst I will provide accounting and analytical support, serving as the financial contact for department administrators and principal investigators while ensuring compliance with regulations and preparing financial reports remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee grant-related post-award functions, including budget analysis, invoicing, and financial reporting Communicate regularly with investigators and department administrators regarding financial management of sponsored funds Prepare periodic financial reports and conduct variance analyses to identify discrepancies Required qualifications High School degree or GED required; BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management for High School/GED holders; 1-3 years for BS/BA holders Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines Excellent customer service skills and strong deductive reasoning abilities
