Cybersecurity AnalystResponsibilities:- Review security alerts from high value networks- Review threat intelligence and use cybersecurity scanning tools to assess impact to company- Test and deploy Splunk security alerts- Identify, document, and track resolution of vulnerabilities- Develop security response documentationSkills & Requirements:- 2+ years of hands-on experience using Splunk for searching/data analysis- Strong understanding of IT security concepts and practices, as well as Blue Team processes and workflows.- Understanding of active directory permissions- Ability to read and interpret network traffic logs- Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.- Strong organization skills.The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate:- Information Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GIAC, etc.- Technical writing skills for creating supporting documentation.- Understanding of SCADA systems and/or protocols.- Familiarity with protection engineering.- Previous experience with utility industry.
