Spinner/Crane OperatorDuration: 6 Months Temp To HireLocation: Anniston AL 36207Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00AMPay Rate: $18.00/hr. W2Education: Must have minimum high school diploma or GEDExperience: Must have experience operating a crane (ensure this is detailed in the resume)Working hours: 3:30 PM - 2:00AMPotential overtime as business requiresTraining will be on days 5AM - 3:30PM - will then move to night shift (the duration of training would depend on the individual's ability to work independently)This role offers a $2.00 shift differential when working on nightsManager's notes below:Safety focused, comfortable in manufacturing facility, work in elements of weather, comfortable getting dirtyWe are a large concrete manufacturer based out of Anniston, Alabama. We are currently looking to fill a Spinner/Crane Operator position.Primary ResponsibilitiesAble to correctly identify the size and style of mold to be spunAbility to identify any problems with pole productsAble to properly use a crane to safely move pole productsResponsible for cleaning and maintaining the spinner machineBehavioral CompetenciesExcellent safety record and habits.Ability to work alone or in a team.Keep the work area clean and orderly.Excellent work ethics and habits.The operator shall consider him/herself as part of a team working towards the same goal and consider your fellow workers as his/her customers.Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision.

Provide suggestions or solutions.Must be willing to do other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.Education & Experience QualificationsMust be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and drawings required to carry out the job.Must be able to document the results of his/her job.Must be able to keep a sufficient lead in a manner that maintains shipping flow.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.1-year fabrication shop or manufacturing environment experience a plusAbility to pass a drug screen and background check.Physical DemandsRepetitive movement with hands & fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls include simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, and reaching with hands & arms.Must be able to stand/walk for 6-8+ hours a day; occasional sitting.Requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.Must be able to work in a non-temp controlled work environment with personal protective equipmentPersonal Protective Equipment RequirementsSafety glasses, hard hats, and steel-toe boots while in the shop area.Hearing protection when required.Must remember Safety comes first.
