Position Details

IU Health Medical Group, in collaboration with Indiana University School of Medicine, seeks a foundational Spine Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana.

• Perform all aspects of neurosurgical disorder care for patients experiencing neurological issues.
• Practice in a multidisciplinary care setting with Pain Management specialists, Physiatry, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Neurology.
• Benefit from a dedicated surgical support team and access to a newly renovated spine operating room equipped with a state‑of‑the‑art O‑Arm.
• Receive a strong primary care referral base to support the growth of your practice in an interdisciplinary environment with APPs, therapists, triage nurses, and more.

The position includes research and teaching responsibilities at the IU Health Neuroscience Center and Methodist Hospital, a rotation schedule with equal call time shared with all adult neurosurgeons, and leadership opportunities in hospital and system quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Neurosurgery residency in an ACGME‑accredited program.
• ABNS BE/BC certification.
• H‑1B sponsorship considered.
