nTeach
nA D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
nExhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
nStarting and finishing workouts on time
nAssessing and aligning each member with the proper program
nBuilding and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
nCoaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
nDelivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
nTeaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
nResponsibilities
nFoster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
nMaximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
nModify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
nReduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
nQualifications
nHas a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
nHas at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
nMinimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
nHas a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
