SPEECH THERAPIST

Job Description

Our Wesley Woods location is hiring for a full-time SPEECH‑LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP‑CCC) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to residents upon physician referral in accordance with all laws, regulations and A.G. Rhodes standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in the rehab department and throughout the facility (e.g., resident rooms).
• Possibility of working in multiple facilities.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during working hours.
• Interact with residents, associates, visitors, government agencies and personnel under all conditions and circumstances.
• Attend and participate in continuing education programs.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MSSLP).
• ASHA‑certified (CCC).
• Active therapy license in Georgia.
• One year’s experience in long‑term care or a related setting preferred.
