Speech Pathologist
Encompass Health invites you to become a Speech Pathologist, playing a pivotal role in helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges. You will work within our community‑focused inpatient rehabilitation settings, applying cutting‑edge technology and evidence‑based therapies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
- Identify issues and modify therapy treatments as necessary.
- Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
- Celebrate patient victories along the way.
Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.
