This will be a limited appointment that will end 4-months from the date of hire. The SLP will assist the Principal Investigator in clinical research that focuses on the nature and treatment of communication impairments across the life course. Projects will include observational and language treatment studies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in speech pathology, certificate of clinical competence in speech pathology awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association, and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of neuroanatomy.
- Experience working with children with communication difficulties and adults with Primary Progressive Aphasia.
- Demonstrated proficiency with medical terminology.
- Ability to abstract data from medical records and transfer it to data collection forms or directly into databases.
License / Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

- The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
- Placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including work experience and internal equity.
