Develop or implement treatment plans for problems such as stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorders, or inappropriate pitch or harsh voice problems, based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers.Job RequirementsEducationRequired: Graduate of a Speech Pathology ProgramPreferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Speech Pathology ProgramExperiencePreferred: 1 year experienceSkillsGood clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills requiredSelf-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision requiredHas demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.Must have good communication skills and a positive attitudeLicensure/Certification/RegistrationRequired: Missouri License of Speech TherapyMust obtain BLS within 90 daysPreferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be eligibleKeyword: SLP, Speech Language Pathologist
