Summary
The Speech Pathologist provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures. Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures.
- Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
- Provides appropriate case management/therapeutic intervention.
- Provides appropriate written documentation of services provided.
- Assumes responsibility for ancillary/priority services within department and contributes to development of department by participating in special projects/programs.
- Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
- Education: Master\'s degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required; Doctorate is preferred
- Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
