We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) to join a supportive school district in Norfolk, Virginia . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment where your expertise will help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow, you'll receive the support and resources needed to thrive in a rewarding school-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing
  • Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
  • Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) license or eligibility preferred.
