Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (when applicable)
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to maximize student outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility)
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) certification or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred but not required
