Job Description
R.L. KLEIN & Associates Inc. is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support speech and language services for students in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Assist with individual and group therapy sessions.
Support students with speech, language, communication, articulation and social communication needs.
Assist with implementing individualized therapy goals and treatment activities.
Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the supervising SLP.
Maintain accurate therapy and student documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff and families.
Assist with IEP-related services and educational objectives as directed by the supervising SLP.
Follow school, district and state requirements.
Complete required credentialing and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license/eligibility, as applicable.
Relevant SLPA certification or credentials.
Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
