Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – K–12 Schools

Location: Verona, VA Area

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $72,000–$79,200 annually, 50-55/hr

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services to K–12 students in the Verona, Virginia area. Requirements

For SLP Candidates

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply

School-based Experience Preferred

For SLPA Candidates

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field meeting Virginia requirements
• Current Virginia SLPA license or registration (or eligibility, as applicable)

Experience Working With School-aged Children Preferred

• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations (SLPs).
• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services.
• Implement treatment plans and IEP goals under the supervision of an SLP (SLPAs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions (SLPs).
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Support students in developing communication skills that promote academic and social success.
