POSITION: Speech Language Pathologist
LOCATION: Anderson High School

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology, or a related field
- Current license through Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA)
- Demonstrates knowledge of Special Education law, guidelines, and procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services in individual or group settings
- Writes and implements IEP goals
- Adhere to MARSE speech/language guidelines for eligibility, service delivery, and exit criteria
- Evaluate students suspected of having a speech/language impairment as part of a multidisciplinary evaluation team
- Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language impairments
- Provide consultation and collaboration to students, families, and school staff
- Provide speech/language services and evaluation to parochial schools
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and district policy
- Maintain professional competence in field by attending and participating in professional organizations, workshops, conferences, and staff meetings
- Perform other duties as required by the building administrator and Director of Special Education
