Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Willimantic, CT

This dynamic contract role is designed for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials who thrives in a diverse school environment. Located near Willimantic, CT, the assignment spans from August 2026 to June 2027 and covers a full‑time schedule, Monday through Friday, with a weekly commitment of 35‑37.5 hours.

As the district’s full‑time SLP, you’ll collaborate across multiple school sites, offering your expertise district‑wide. The caseload is diverse, providing the chance to work with students at every developmental stage, from kindergarten through high school.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC‑SLP) required
• Valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous school‑based SLP experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and delivery
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational strategies
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
