Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing a full range of speech‑language pathology services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment, consistent with professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Current, valid state SLP license (SLPCCC)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred or required
  • Current valid CPR certification preferred

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Experience: 0–1 year

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and standardized tests
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients’ specific needs
  • Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing/feeding abilities
  • Educate patients and families about disorder nature, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance daily communication and swallowing
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Other duties as assigned
