Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Therapy Services

We are seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in hospital (acute and swing bed) and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, considering patient, family, and cultural backgrounds.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Utilizing standardized and instrumental evaluations to monitor progress.
• Providing patient and family education, collaborating with the healthcare team, and recommending appropriate next steps in care.
• Documenting all interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adapting intervention strategies based on patient performance and behavior.

Qualifications and skills:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensure as an SLP by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and collaborative skills.
