Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for children, adults, and seniors utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational skills.
• Create tailored treatment plans that address immediate needs as well as ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Offer personalized speech therapy services concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing while nurturing each patient's individuality.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care.
• Provide education to patients and families, reinforcing progress made during sessions and enabling continued growth at home.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, supporting a continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with regulatory and administrative standards.
• Stay informed of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completions of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
