Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure a unified approach to care.
Educate patients and their families on how to support progress beyond your sessions, empowering them to play an active role in therapy.
Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the recovery process.
Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
Engage in ongoing learning through professional development and collaborative efforts with peers to stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech therapy.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized accredited institution.
A completed supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if applicable, prior to obtaining ASHA certification.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hiring.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for varied age groups with deep insights into developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
