Position Details

• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing skills in communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide educational support for patients and their families that encourages progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to assure seamless continuity of care throughout the healing process.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation aligned with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaborative peer engagement.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Licensure & Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting employment.
