Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that enhance aspects of communication such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.

Engage in team-based collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop cohesive care plans for patients.

Provide education to patients and their families, promoting progress and understanding outside of therapy sessions.

Participate in inpatient speech therapy cases, when necessary, thereby ensuring a seamless continuum of patient care.

Maintain thorough documentation that aligns with all state and federal guidelines as well as organizational policies.

Commit to continual learning and peer engagement to remain current with the latest advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as per ASHA guidelines if not yet certified.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment practices with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions across all age groups.

Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Flexibility in adapting therapy methods that respect and accommodate the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of clients.
