Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate,diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Provide therapy focused on speech, cognition, and dysphagia management
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of recent SLP experience within the last 5 years preferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
- Strong clinical and communication skills
