Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is a team-based rehabilitation facility located in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA. Our clinicians focus on home and community reintegration, helping clients with brain, spinal cord, and other neurological injuries rebuild independence through goal‑driven therapy that happens out in the community—wherever life takes them. Clinicians have the flexibility to schedule sessions around their own and clients’ needs, and experience therapy in real‑world environments such as grocery stores, kitchens, hiking trails, and workplaces.

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences.
- Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
- Communicate patients’ needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipients, and family members.
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
- Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
- At least one year’s experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury (preferred).
- Effective and professional communication in verbal and written interactions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and, when required, lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
- Capacity to perform fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
- Additional physical requirements include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
- Health screening or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on location policy and local/state regulations, to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
