Overview
Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is hiring Speech‑Language Pathologists for our Home & Community Program in Tacoma. Our innovative model supports communication, cognitive, and functional goals in real‑world environments.

- Provide speech and cognitive therapy in home/community settings
- Support return to work, return to driving, and independent communication
- Collaborate with OT, PT, and LCSW team members

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans of patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans regularly, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referral and education resources
- Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, service recipients, and family members
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, care coordination, and enhanced patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of work experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
- Preferred knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds when moving or transferring patients, following safety procedures
- Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently, as required
- May require health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter to ensure physical capability with or without reasonable accommodations
