Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)- Per Diem Essex

Position Overview

Sigma Health Rehab is offering a per diem Speech Language Pathology (SLP) position in a Skilled Nursing Facility at Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Elizanethtown, New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contribute to a team effort.

Minimum SLP Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited SLP Program.
• Current New York State SLP License.
