The role involves evaluating, planning, and providing speech, language, cognition, and swallowing therapy for pediatric patients in accordance with ASHA standards and clinical guidelines.


Key Responsibilities Include



  • Conducting therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge planning for a full caseload.

  • Providing patient and caregiver education, documentation, billing, scheduling, and administrative duties.

  • Communicating professionally and supervising support staff, while adhering to organizational policies and ethics.

  • Participating in staff education, committees, onboarding, and mentoring; may serve as a clinical instructor.

  • Flexing to other departments based on patient needs when schedule permits.


Qualifications And Skills



  • Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current state registration/license to practice speech-language pathology.

  • Strong communication, professionalism, and leadership abilities.
