Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Now Staffing Full Time Speech Language Pathologists for Rehab Department in state‑of‑the‑art SNFs throughout NYC and surrounding areas. Flagstar Rehab SLPs work with a diverse and multi‑disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve speech and swallow capabilities and functional daily life. Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) at this time.

Compensation
Hourly Pay Rate: $50 Hourly (W‑2), $65 Hourly (1099)
Job Duties
- Provide efficient speech or swallow evaluations and/or screens of patients.
- Develop plan of care, downgrade/upgrade as appropriate, manage meal texture.
- Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, covering conditions such as TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnoses.
- Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software. Proficiency in Rehab Optima + Point Click a plus!

Requirements
- Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) at this time.
- Current NYS SLP License and Registration.
- Clinical Competence Certification (CCC).
- CPR Certificate.
- EMR Competence.
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).
